By selecting “Accept” at the end of this page, I agree to these terms and conditions in order to be a participant in the PARLODENTˢᴹ asynchronous interpreting course (the “THE DENTAL INTERPETING COURSE”). I cannot participate in the Course unless I accept these terms.

We take care of your personal data and undertake to guarantee its confidentiality and security.

Requirements to Participate

I represent that the following are true:

• I am a staff, faculty member of the dental school or healthcare institution that is offering this course to me.

• I am 18 or older with at high school diploma or GED certificate.

• I am fluent bilingual.

• I have previous healthcare interpretation training, or work in the dentistry field.

Recommendation of Prior Training

I understand that completing a 40-hour training in medical or healthcare interpreting in the United States prior to taking the Course is strongly recommended but not required.

Quizzes, Final Evaluation and Retaking

I agree to complete all quizzes and the final evaluation and I understand that I have four weeks from the date that I first logged into the Course. I must score 80% or higher overall to pass the Course. I may retake the Course if I do not pass, but I must do so within the original four-week maximum period that the Course is available to me.

Restrictions

I understand that I cannot record or in any way copy the Course or any part of it, including the quizzes and final evaluation, and PARLODENT Dental Interpreter Glossary; and I cannot share, broadcast or distribute the Course to anyone.

I will be provided with a unique access code required to login to the Course and I will not copy, share, or in any way transfer that code to anyone.

I understand that PARLODENTˢᴹ created and owns the Course and I am prohibited under copyright law from copying, adapting, sharing, distributing, or broadcasting any part of the Course or the materials related to the Course.
